As women, we hold the sacred space of a mother’s womb and just like Mother Earth — We flow through 4 different seasons throughout our cycles.
A women’s cycle can vary between 21 to 40 days with the average cycle being 28 days. Becoming familiar with your cycle length will allow you the opportunity to sync with your cyclical seasons each month.
By learning the art of cycle syncing, you will experience full alignment with your natural waves of hormones, emotions and inner power as a woman. This will allow you to surrender to your own ebbs and flows. Which can bring a healthy sense of peace into your life. It can also bring you clarity in regards to your mood, energy levels and physical abilities.
Each phase represents unique strengths and powers that can be used to optimize your productivity, your success, your relationships and our overall well being.
This blog article will serve as a guide to help you embrace the rhythm of your hormones to ultimately lead you to a more balanced and fulfilled life.
So why am I sharing this information about cycle syncing with you?
Because I believe all women should have the wisdom and the opportunity to reclaim their inner power. Just as Mother Nature intended. Women were never meant to be stagnant creatures of the earth, we were created to flow like the ocean. After all, that is what feminine energy represents. If we live our lives fighting or resisting our natural flow, we will be left to experience burnout and resistance in all aspects of our lives.

Men, this guidance can help you to love, support and understand all of the beautiful women in your life. The more you come to understand a woman, the more she will be able to fully open up and trust in your masculine presence. There will be days where she isn’t capable of giving 100% in all things due to her natural ebbs and flows. Showing forgiveness or support here will help her to feel secure and safe.
Women, share this post with the men in your life and encourage them to learn and ask about a woman’s cycle. This will offer them clarity about your ebbs and flows and help them to understand and feel more comfortable with sharing space with you.
Now let’s learn about the 4 Sacred Seasons.
Menstrual (Inner Winter) 3-7 days
This is the season where a woman’s energy tends to be at her lowest due to the rapid drop in hormones. Menstruation uses 80% of a women’s energy but for a very important reason. However, some women do experiences impulses of energy for a few days during this time.
During this time a woman’s intuition and connection with source energy is at its highest. This can be a very magical, creative time for spiritually connected women. Emotions are typically heightened during this time along with sensitivity. Emotionally and physically. This is the death before rebirth season for a woman. The time to release and renew.
It is the best time to release emotions, traumas or any heaviness and to intentionally set new goals and manifestations. Physically a woman may experience brain fog, fatigue and a reclusive feeling from others. This is normal as your body is calling you to move inward here.
Please woman, be gentle with yourself in this phase and flow with your emotions. Surrender to your sleepiness and restore yourself. Take extra good care of you. Offering a safe space for your feminine flow is very important during this time. Light movement and exercise can assist you during this time and improve symptoms. Libido may be low during this time. If it’s not, sacred sex with a loved one can be very powerful and healthy during this time. Fertility is generally lower during this season.

A Conscious Woman’s Guide to Menstruation
Follicular (Inner Spring) 5-7 days
This is the season for rebirth. A woman may experience a deeper sense of focus, determination and confidence during this time. This is the best time to build and create new plans. Energy levels are rising here! Embrace them. It is also a great time to schedule big presentations, events or social gatherings. Intense movement and workout is much easier during this phase, so don’t be afraid to push yourself. This is also the time of the month where a woman’s libido is starting to rise!
Tap into your creativity here sweet woman and renew all things in your life that call for change. This is also a good time to plan travel or begin anything new with clear focus. I love to write you blog posts and focus more on my external reality during this time.
Also note: our fertility is high during this season!
Ovulatory (Inner summer) 3-5 days
This is a woman’s most active season where energy levels have reached their peak! A woman’s confidence and courage is heightened during this season. You may feel you want to get out and be social and extroverted more than usual. This is the “time to shine” because woman here you are GLOWING.
This is the best time for performances, facing challenges and going out for girls night or date night. In this phase estrogen and testosterone are at their highest which leads to an increase in sex drive. Your libido may feel like a ravishing ball of fire here. This is the best time for pleasure and connection. Embrace it fully and embody your inner huntress and sex goddess energy. Safely of course and with great care because your womb is the sacred portal for all of the beauty and divinity that you are! This sexual energy can be expressed in other ways of course and should be. Such as, creativity, movement and taking part in activities that you are passionate about. This is also the best time for intense movement, training or physical activity. Our fertility is at its peak during this phase!
Luteal (inner autumn) 7-10 days
This is the season where women begin to transition away from outward energy to inward reflection. You may notice that your patience is a little lower at this time and can lead to some irritability. Be gentle and forgiving towards yourself here. Your progesterone hormone is rising, peaking and falling here if no pregnancy occurs. Naturally, your libido may drop here. Calling you to focus on yourself, reflect and organize any loose ends in your life.
You may find yourself gravitating towards decluttering your space naturally or “nesting” during this time. This is the best time to be focused on your personal goals and this focus will come with ease. This is a good time for moderate movement and more slower movements closer to menstruation. Our fertility is lowering here and back into the Inner Winter season.

Your seasons do not define you. So please do not put expectations upon yourself or force yourself to align with your seasons. This will only defeat the purpose of you aligning with your innate flow as a woman. It’s important to remember that external factors can affect our mood, energy and desires as well and that every season will look different for each woman. So the most important thing you can do is listen to your body throughout your cycle. As you listen, you will come to learn and understand when and how your sacred seasons manifest themselves and by doing so, you will find a sense of gentleness and peace within yourself that you’ve never felt before.
I can promise you, the more you align with your cycle and embrace your ebbs and flows, the more fulfilling, balanced and peaceful your life will be.
