Hello everyone! I am so excited to see all of you who have been apart of our community since the beginning and all of the new faces who have joined us in recent days.
As we have developed our foundation as a community I felt that now is a great time to tell the story of how the Crescent Moon Tribe was created! I’d also like to share a little about the purpose of this blog, why it was created and my vision for the future of our community!
A couple of years ago, I discovered that my passion and purpose in this life was to be a guide for others. I had studied psychology my whole adult life and I knew I wanted to help people reach their full potential. So I decided to create my own brand and blog so I could easily reach the masses. The blog has seen great success and since then I have started various life coaching trainings specializing in self-healing, self-empowerment and sacred energies.
The story of How i started
Over my years of study and travel I realized there were so many things I wanted to share with others but I was afraid to share my voice with the world. This was due to my self-doubt and my fear of rejection. However, after putting in extensive practice and work to heal my self-limiting beliefs and wounds, I started to open up to the idea of sharing my message with the world but I had no idea how.
I had 500 followers and a private profile on Instagram, I hardly knew how to use a hashtag and I didn’t know how to show up as my true self but one of my dearest sister friends convinced me to start taking small steps to speak my truth and to start sharing on social media. Quickly, I discovered that I really did have a message to share but more so that I could make a serious impact in this world by guiding others through my knowledge and experiences. So I decided to create a blog.
The story of how the Blog got its name
I knew I wanted to create a blog and the universe was persistently guiding me to do so. Overtime I had created a vision for what it would be like but I was still pondering what the name of the blog would be. Then one day, over coffee with this same sister friend, it happened. We were expressing our gratitude for our sisterhood and she laughed and said “We are the crescent moon sisters”. I remember looking at her wide eyed and I said
“Thats it. We will be the Crescent Moon Tribe”
This is why I always say that the Tribe started from sisterhood. Through my healing journey, I recognized how crucial the bonds with dear friends and loved ones can be and how my sister tribe had guided and supported me to become the best version of myself. So I wanted to create a community of people (a tribe) with the same mission to grow, heal and better themselves so that as a collective we could transcend together because together, we are stronger.
The purpose of this blog
The purpose of this blog is to be a self-discovery sanctuary. A safe place where you can come to be reminded of the power you hold within yourself. My goal with the Crescent Moon Tribe Blog is to share what I have learned about health and wellness, love and relationships, self-empowerment and healing so that you can take the guidance that works for you and apply it into your own life. All of the blog articles are available to read and share 24/7 for FREE. At the end of this article I will provide a list and links to some blog articles you may have missed!
Blog updates
I’d like to share a few updates that have been made to the blog in recent days! I have added a Poetry Tab on our homepage for my sister brand Hiraeth Honey Poetry. You can check it out and support here! I have also added a Shop my Closet Tab to encourage secondhand fashion and sustainable shopping and selling!
There will be 2 new blog posts each month that are posted every other Wednesday. If you are subscribed to the blog you will be notified via email when they are posted and you will also receive our monthly newsletter with exclusive updates and content! If your not subscribed, make sure to do so today at the end of this article 🙂
My future vision for this blog
Our community will continue to grow and the blog will remain free and accessible to all! Next year I will be launching 1.1 Coaching sessions and in time group coaching sessions. I am currently doing a variety of certification and training programs so that I am able to be the best coach possible for my clients.
Beyond this, I will be creating online courses for specific self-development teachings and hosting events and retreats!
My vision for the Crescent Moon Tribe is immense and I hope yours is too. This is just the beginning and your potential is limitless dear human. Thank you for being here and thank you for being apart of this community.
